Company History
rtCraft Printing Company
began operations in 1920 as a new company formed by brothers Fred and Tom Fowler. Its first location was
413 East 15th Street in Kansas City, Missouri and had the phone number "Delaware 2743". The company was
primarily a letterpress shop with Chandler & Price platen and Kluge automatic presses.
n 1931 the company moved to
1707 Grand Avenue. Frank Fowler, the son of Fred, purchased the company in the 1950's and remained owner
until 1982. Bill Carroll became ArtCraft's owner in 1984 and moved to its present location at 1733 Locust.
Significant investment in equipment and technology with a continued emphasis on sales and service has
allowed the company to grow to its present size. Through a dedication to meeting its customers' needs, the
employees of ArtCraft Printing company have achieved a reputation for quality and service.
